Instructions and Precautions: 1. Lubricate the o-ring with silicone grease and use the provided wrench to prevent leakage. For first-time installation, refer to helpful YouTube videos on "whole house water filter" setup. 2. Protect the filter housing from freezing. 3. This filter has a maximum operating pressure of 90 psi. If your water pressure is suspected to exceed 80 psi at any time, a pressure regulator must be installed before the filter housing to prevent exceeding the maximum rating. It is recommended to set the pressure regulator at 60 psi or less. 4. The rubber o-ring provides a water-tight seal between the cap and sump. Ensure the o-ring is properly seated in the groove to avoid water leaks.
