What's in the Box: 2 x 10-inch big CLEAR housing with pressure release, 2 x plastic wrenches, 2 x metal brackets, and 2 bags of screws. 3. Filter Options: a. PP Spun Filter: Removes sand, dirt, and sediment. Average lifespan: 6 months. b. Carbon Block Filter: Further removes chlorine, taste, odors, and very fine particulates. Average lifespan: 6 months. The filter cartridge lifespan depends on usage amount and feed water quality.
Notes: 1. Lubricate the o-ring with silicone grease and use the provided wrench to prevent leakage. You may find helpful installation videos on YouTube. 2. Protect the filter housing from freezing. 3. This filter housing has a maximum operating pressure of 80 psi. If your water pressure may exceed 60 psi, a pressure regulator must be installed before the filter housing to prevent the pressure from exceeding the maximum rating. It is recommended to set the pressure regulator to 50 psi or less. 4. The rubber o-ring provides a water-tight seal between the cap and the sump. It is crucial that the o-ring is properly seated in the groove to avoid water leaks.
