What is a 3-stage filter and its function?
- The 1st stage is the PP Sediment Cartridge, which reduces particulate material such as sand, silt, and rust from the water.
- The 2nd stage is the Carbon Filter, which reduces chlorine, taste & odors, and very fine particulates.
- The 3rd stage is the RO membrane, which reduces total dissolved minerals, arsenic, lead, fluoride, mercury, cadmium, and more.
What's included in the box?
The box includes (1) PP Sediment Cartridge, (1) Carbon Filter, and (1) RO membrane.
Notes:
- It is recommended to wait until the entire system is pressurized and re-check for any leaks before leaving the installation site.
- Please keep the filters flushed for 30 minutes before using them to feed your aquarium. It is normal for some black carbon fines to appear when you flush the Carbon Filter.
- Push the tubing all the way in and use Teflon tape during installation.
