Note: 1. Lubricate the o-ring with silicon grease and use the provided wrench to prevent leakage. For first-time installation, refer to helpful YouTube videos on "whole house water filter" housing. 2. Protect the filter housing from freezing. 3. This filter housing has a maximum operating pressure rating of 90 psi. If your water pressure exceeds 80 psi at any time, a pressure regulator MUST BE INSTALLED before the filter housing to prevent the pressure from exceeding the maximum rating. It is recommended to set the pressure regulator at 60 psi or less. 4. The rubber o-ring provides a water-tight seal between the cap and the sump. Ensure the o-ring is properly SEATED IN THE GROOVE to avoid water leaks.
Material: The housing is made of 100% FOOD GRADE Polypropylene (PP).
Functionality: The sediment cartridge removes silt, sand, rust, dirt, and other undissolved particles, making it suitable for residential and commercial applications. It provides a stable and continuous water flow without significant pressure drop, ensuring a better water experience throughout the house.
