The APEC Essence 75 GPD pH 6 stage complete filter set is designed with high-quality filtration components to safeguard and extend the lifespan of your reverse osmosis system. This premium quality filter set is crafted to provide exceptional impurity removal for over 6 months, while the membrane and post-carbon filter can last for 2-4 years. The 6th stage pH+ inline filter enhances the pH of the water and infuses it with high-quality calcium carbonate, making it compatible with APEC's 75 GPD Essence ROES-PH75 under-the-counter reverse osmosis systems.
The filtration process begins with the 1st stage, a 5-micron 10-inch sediment filter that removes dirt, particles, and rust, protecting and prolonging the life of the membrane and the overall system. The 2nd and 3rd stages feature a 10-micron 10-inch carbon block filter that eradicates unpleasant chlorine, tastes, odors, cloudiness, and colors, as well as eliminates VOCs and other common harmful synthetics from the water.
The 4th stage is a high-rejection 75 GPD TFC reverse osmosis membrane that effectively removes a wide range of impurities, including arsenic, chlorine, lead, fluoride, chromium, and radium. The 5th stage is a 10-inch coconut shell refining carbon filter that removes any residual taste from the tank.
Lastly, the 6th stage is a 10-inch high-purity pH+ calcium carbonate alkaline inline filter with a quick-connect feature, which increases the pH level of the water by reintroducing calcium carbonate minerals.
